Shortly after graduation I got an electronic                      technician job at Telex in Blue Earth, Minnesota .                        I worked at the Telex plant starting in October of 1973.  My first job was as                      a electronic technician working on the line troubleshooting printed circuit                      boards and assembled units.  Later I ran an audio tape lab that made test                      tapes for our in plant use and for our customers.                        My last job at Telex was in our test equipment calibration lab.  I calibrated                      volt-ohm-meters, digital volt meters, temperature meters, power line                      monitors, signal generators, power supplies, oscilloscopes  and more.  We                      were using the Fluke computer program to keep track of the calibration of                      our test equipment.                         Telex closed the Blue Earth plant by releasing employees as their job                     functions were no longer needed.
